Job Summary
Managing small to medium IT projects remotely, the full-time Project Manager II (PMP Required) will oversee project planning, coordination, and execution while ensuring adherence to established guidelines and quality assurance standards.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manages assigned IT projects, translating team input into comprehensive project plans with timelines and deliverables
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project processes and facilitates effective project meetings
- Identifies and manages project risks and issues, providing status reports to steering committees and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience required
- Experience in healthcare or higher education preferred
- Familiarity with Service Now, Jira, Smartsheet, Clarity PPM, or Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software preferred
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) within 1 year required
- Proven ability to manage projects and maintain detail-oriented documentation
