Job Summary
Managing the early stages of solar and energy storage projects, the full-time Project Manager - Midwest will oversee project execution, coordinate with various stakeholders, and ensure projects are shovel-ready while working remotely or from designated offices with potential travel up to 10% of the year.
Key responsibilities
- Lead project management due diligence from the Letter of Intent to Notice to Proceed phases
- Manage engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction for multiple solar projects
- Generate progress reports and develop project work plans and schedules
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Architecture, or a related field
- 5-7+ years of project management experience in ground mount commercial solar development with projects of at least 1 MW
- Strong knowledge of ground mount solar projects in the Northeastern US
- Understanding of power systems and electrical grid concepts
