Job Summary
Leading the execution of critical power generation and energy infrastructure projects, the full-time Project Manager - Natural Gas will manage natural gas-fired power generation facilities and related infrastructure while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, overseeing natural gas-fired power generation projects from development through commissioning
- Serve as the primary owner's representative for EPC contractors and manage contractor performance, compliance, and negotiations
- Implement project controls and risk management processes, providing actionable updates to senior leadership throughout the project lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in project execution or construction management within power generation or energy infrastructure sectors
- Demonstrated experience executing projects from either the Owner's or Contractor/EPC side
- Direct experience with natural gas-fired power generation projects
- Knowledge of quality assurance, commissioning, and safety management systems
