Project Manager - Research Operations

Job Summary

Supporting strategic research portfolio management and operational coordination activities for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Project Manager - Research Operations will manage the implementation of research frameworks, coordinate project management activities, and develop project plans while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation of research portfolio management frameworks and operational processes
• Coordinate project management activities for research operations initiatives supporting leadership
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reporting across multiple workstreams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as public health, health administration, or business administration
• 4+ years of experience in research administration, project management, or program operations
• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders and complex policy changes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
