Project Manager with Certification

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientific Research Project Manager to lead a complex federal program supporting the NIH Office of Portfolio Analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the principal liaison to NIH representatives and oversee day-to-day program operations
• Provide strategic direction to team leads and monitor program performance through various reports
• Establish a quality management system and ensure compliance with NIH standards while managing project documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 5 years' experience managing federal government contracts, preferably with NIH or HHS
• Active certification in project/program management, such as PMP, CAPM, or CSM
• Demonstrated experience in overseeing complex programs involving research, bioinformatics, or AI/ML initiatives
• Expertise in managing multidisciplinary technical teams in a dynamic environment
