Project Manager with PMP Certification

Job Summary

As the Task Order Project Lead (TOPL) / Program Manager, the full-time salaried position will manage complex initiatives within the Veterans Health Administration, providing strategic direction and oversight while engaging with senior leadership to improve health outcomes for Veterans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight and strategic direction for program activities under TOPR-0034, ensuring deliverables are completed on scope, schedule, and budget
• Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out programs in support of VHA's integrated health care system using structured program management methodologies
• Engage regularly with VA and VHA senior leadership to provide program status updates and facilitate data-driven decision-making

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within an integrated health care system or large-scale federal environment, or 4 years with a BA/BS degree
• Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or a BA/BS with commensurate experience
• Minimum of 6 years (Master's path) or 4 years (BA/BS path) of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency, preferably in federal health care
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or comparable certification required at time of hire
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance and comply with VA information security requirements
