Project Manager with PMP Certification

Job Summary

To support the VA's AI Citizen Developer Ecosystem, the full-time Project Manager with PMP Certification will manage multiple concurrent projects, serve as the primary contractor contact for VHA leadership, and ensure timely delivery of program objectives while aligning with federal healthcare standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the single contractor point of contact for VHA requests related to SME support and program performance
• Plan, execute, and formally close out projects within the AI Citizen Developer Ecosystem program, ensuring alignment with VHA objectives
• Develop and maintain program management artifacts, including schedules, risk registers, and status reports, in accordance with federal standards

Required qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in managing programs for a large corporation or government agency, preferably in healthcare
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Experience supporting federal agency clients, with preference for work within the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust clearance
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential required at time of hire
