Project Planner/Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Project Planner/Estimator to support construction planning and cost estimating for federal projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop budget estimates and Independent Government Estimates (IGE) for various construction projects
• Prepare and analyze contractor pricing proposals and change order cost estimates
• Assist Project Managers in developing Agency Special Requirements and conduct Quality Assurance reviews

Required Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in Tenant Improvement and construction estimating
• Experience estimating construction projects valued over $250,000
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and measure space accurately
• Working knowledge of commercial building systems
• Hands-on experience in the competitive bidding process
