Project/Product Manager
Job Summary
To support the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the full-time remote Project/Product Manager will direct day-to-day program execution for complex AI initiatives, manage Agile ceremonies, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver secure, production-ready AI capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct day-to-day program execution, including staffing, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholder coordination
- Lead Agile ceremonies and manage sprint backlogs using JIRA and FEMA-provided management tools
- Produce and maintain required program artifacts, including reports, communications plans, and risk registers
Required qualifications:
- Five to ten years of experience managing complex IT, software-development, AI/ML, or cloud-modernization programs
- Experience managing Agile delivery, product backlogs, and integrated schedules
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster, Product Owner, or comparable Agile/project-management certification preferred
- U.S. Citizenship and favorable adjudication for FEMA Public Trust suitability required
