Project Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing quality standards and procedures, the part-time Project Quality Engineer will develop and maintain systems to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements while working both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Verify fulfillment of contractual and regulatory requirements during EPC tendering and project execution phases to maximize customer satisfaction
• Monitor compliance with relevant codes, standards, and customer specifications, preparing quality-related reports for client approvals
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement through lessons learned and root cause analysis, promoting a culture of quality awareness among project staff

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field
• Strong experience in QA/QC roles within the oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, or energy sectors
• Experience in conducting Pre Production/Pre Inspection Meetings with clients and leading investigations on customer-related non-conformities
• Knowledge of EPC project lifecycle and relevant internal standards (ASME, API, ISO, DNV, etc.)
• Certification in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor and/or ASQ CQE preferred
