Job Summary
Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time Project Scheduler will develop, maintain, and integrate project schedules for the Community Care Network Next Generation and Veterans Family Member Program, ensuring alignment across program workstreams in a complex federal healthcare IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, baseline, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using MS Project, capturing all tasks, dependencies, milestones, and resource assignments
- Integrate individual project schedules into the program-level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), coordinating with workstream leads to maintain schedule integrity and identify critical path activities
- Support Agile development cadences by translating sprint planning and testing cycles into schedule artifacts that align with Agile ceremonies and formal IMS reporting requirements
Required qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project scheduling for large-scale IT or healthcare programs
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a closely related field
- Prior experience supporting VA, federal healthcare, or other federal agency programs, with familiarity in federal program scheduling standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust and pass applicable VA background investigation requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in MS Project for schedule development, maintenance, and integration
