Project Scheduler

Job Summary

Supporting the Community Care Network Next Generation and Veterans Family Member Program, the part-time Project Scheduler will develop and maintain project schedules, integrate them into the Integrated Master Schedule, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and track milestones in a federal healthcare IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, baseline, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using MS Project, ensuring accurate task and milestone tracking
• Integrate individual project schedules into the program-level Integrated Master Schedule, coordinating with workstream leads to maintain schedule integrity
• Support Agile development by translating sprint planning and testing cycles into schedule artifacts that align with Agile ceremonies and formal reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project scheduling for large-scale IT or healthcare programs
• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Prior experience supporting VA or federal healthcare programs, with knowledge of federal program scheduling standards
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Position of Public Trust and pass applicable background investigation requirements
• Demonstrated expertise in MS Project for schedule development and management, including critical path analysis
