Project Scientist - Risk Assessor

Job Summary

Offering a remote opportunity, the full-time Project Scientist - Risk Assessor will lead human health risk assessments for complex scenarios, manage a team of professionals, and cultivate client relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of site-specific human health risk assessments under various regulatory programs
• Develop conceptual exposure models to characterize constituent dynamics and identify human health receptors
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints

Required qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, toxicology, ecology, environmental science, or a related field
• 8+ years of consulting experience with a track record of successful project outcomes
• Proven leadership and management skills, including mentoring staff
• Experience in business development and building strong client relationships
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks and environmental laws
