Prompt Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Focused on enhancing AI capabilities in education, the full-time remote Prompt Systems Engineer will design, test, and continuously improve prompts and system instructions for AI agents used in enrollment, learning, and student support.
Key responsibilities
- Write and maintain system prompts for AI agents, translating educational requirements into clear agent behavior
- Build evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance and ensure alignment with learning objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and test agents, contributing to internal guidelines and best practices
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in designing prompts for LLM-powered applications in production
- Deep familiarity with prompt patterns and evaluation methodologies
- Experience with LLM observability tools like Langfuse or Weights & Biases
- Basic coding skills in JavaScript or Python for prompt automation and testing
- Comfort in interdisciplinary collaboration, engaging with both technical and educational stakeholders
