Job Summary

A company is looking for a contract Proofreader to support short-term remote assignments reviewing written materials in the Dutch (Belgium) language.

Key Responsibilities

• Review multilingual documents for errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and layout
• Ensure documents read naturally in Dutch and maintain consistent terminology and style
• Complete proofreading tasks within deadlines while following project-specific quality standards

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in proofreading, editing, or document review
• Business-level fluency in Dutch (Belgium)
• Strong command of grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting conventions in Dutch
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and digital document management
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting short project deadlines
