Job Summary

Detail-obsessed and tech-savvy, the full-time Proofreader will ensure high-quality open enrollment communication materials meet strict standards for accuracy, consistency, and readability while working remotely from early August to mid-November.

Key responsibilities

• Proofread a variety of open enrollment materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and tone
• Manage a steady flow of assignments, ensuring high accuracy under tight deadlines
• Collaborate with the Proofing Supervisor and team members to clarify requirements and adapt to evolving workflow tools

Required qualifications

• Professional proofreading experience, ideally in marketing/communications, HR, benefits, or healthcare/insurance
• Expert command of English grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines
• Comfortable working fully remote and navigating multiple software systems simultaneously
• Proven ability to handle rapid turnarounds and fluctuating workloads with calm and accuracy
