Job Summary

Detail-focused and experienced, the remote Contract Proofreader (Slovene) will review documents translated from English into Slovene, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and readability while maintaining quality standards across deliverables for short-term projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review written materials in Slovene, correcting spelling, grammar, punctuation, and layout issues
• Refine documents for accuracy and clarity, ensuring appropriateness for the target local language
• Complete proofreading assignments within defined turnaround times while maintaining a high level of quality

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in proofreading, editing, or document review
• Business-level fluency in Slovene
• Strong command of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and written language conventions
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and other common document editing tools
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing short project deadlines
