Property and Casualty Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Actuary with experience in construction for a temporary remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Review work products of the actuarial team and complete individual contributor work
• Analyze financial risks, set rates, and advise on risk management strategies for construction-related entities
• Oversee the building of an internal binding authority rater and lead fire suppression and alarm installers programs

Required Qualifications

• ACAS or FCAS certification
• 10+ years of experience as an actuary in the commercial property and casualty space
• Experience in construction, including general liability casualty and wrap projects
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL proficiency preferred
• Experience overseeing the work product of an actuarial team while performing individual contributor tasks
