Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Customer Retention Specialist will engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support during cancellation requests, focusing on educating pet owners about the value of their coverage while managing high call volumes and navigating sensitive situations.
Key responsibilities
- Educate and support customers requesting to cancel their policy through inbound calls and email
- Manage high call volumes while balancing empathy, efficiency, and productivity
- De-escalate challenging situations and provide solution-oriented support to retain customers
Required qualifications
- 3 years of experience in customer retention or account management in a fast-paced call center environment
- Proven track record in handling cancellations and renewing services
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and comfort using technology in a remote setting
- Ability to obtain and maintain active Property and Casualty (P&C) licensing in all 50 states
- Experience working remotely with a reliable hard-wired internet connection
