Property and Casualty Product Owner

Job Summary

Bridging business needs and technology solutions, the contract Property and Casualty Product Owner will manage ongoing initiatives, act as a Product Owner within Agile teams, and define product vision while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the insurance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several ongoing initiatives within the insurance practice and act as Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring delivery of high-value features aligned with underwriting, claims, and policy administration processes
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to define the product roadmap and identify opportunities for digital transformation

Required qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Insurance
• 2-5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Subject Matter Expert
• Strong understanding of personal lines (Auto, Homeowners) and/or commercial lines
• Experience with policy administration systems (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek) is a plus
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
