Job Summary
Supporting the sales process for Relation's largest commercial lines accounts, the full-time Risk Placement Lead, National Accounts will manage marketing support, develop strategies, and collaborate with various departments to attract and retain clients while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Solicit new and renewal business from Sales Producers and mentor regional risk placement team members
- Develop submission narratives and proposals while engaging with insurance carriers to negotiate favorable renewal terms
- Collaborate with Sales Producers to implement renewal strategies based on client risk profiles and market conditions
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; four-year degree preferred
- Property and Casualty License required, with preference for insurance designations (e.g., CISR, CIC, CPCU)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in risk placement initiatives for new and renewal business
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- In-depth understanding of personal lines of coverage and experience mentoring project teams
