Property and Casualty Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter / Senior Underwriter responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and driving new and renewal business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrites new and renewal business, evaluates risks, and determines coverage terms and premiums
• Maintains existing broker relationships and collaborates across teams to provide quality service to clients
• Stays informed about industry trends and adjusts underwriting strategies accordingly

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in E&S carrier Underwriting
• Must meet minimum requirements for state P&C and/or surplus line licenses
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) is a plus
