Property and Casualty Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Service Underwriter II to provide quality customer service and underwriting expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite new and existing business, making educated decisions on claims and risk controls
• Assist policyholders with inquiries, policy changes, and onboarding processes
• Demonstrate leadership by incorporating feedback, communicating effectively, and problem-solving

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Property & Casualty License required
• 3+ years of relevant experience in underwriting and customer service
• Preferred insurance coursework and/or designations (e.g., AINS, AU, CPCU)
• Independent agency experience is a plus
