Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Excess P&C) to provide support to senior underwriting staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess loss history and financial conditions for risk cases
• Review documentation and conduct risk analysis for submissions
• Process accounts from approved quotes to policy issuance efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 1 year of P&C underwriting or related support experience required
• CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
• Willingness to work in a hybrid capacity if located near specified locations
