Job Summary
Providing expert technical support to clients, the full-time Commercial Lines Senior Casualty Consultant will analyze, design, market, price, and place risks while guiding the Casualty Analytics team and making recommendations for improvement, all in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Guide and develop the Casualty Analytics team while assessing clients' contractual liabilities and insurance policy alignment
- Negotiate underwriting terms and pricing with carrier partners and support Sales Executives with data and proposals for prospective clients
- Collaborate with claims and risk control teams to develop new loss control strategies and participate in recruiting and training efforts
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency with underwriting and technical expertise
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license
- Preferred industry designations include ARM, CIC, or CPCU
- Deep technical knowledge of commercial insurance and strong negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with internet-based programs; knowledge of Sagitta/ImageRight is a plus
