Job Summary
Responsible for the market evaluation and placement of new and existing Premier accounts, the remote Property & Casualty Insurance Rep will manage high net worth clients' complex insurance needs, negotiate terms with carriers, and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and brokers.
Key responsibilities
- Review and analyze insurance submissions for new and renewal business, recommending improvements to coverage
- Market new and renewal submissions to carriers and negotiate competitive pricing and terms on behalf of clients
- Prepare new business proposals to support sales efforts, ensuring compliance with agency procedures
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Personal Risk Property & Casualty insurance
- High School diploma required; college degree preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of Property & Casualty insurance coverages and underwriting concepts
- Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license
- Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU preferred, or intent to pursue a designation
