Property & Casualty Insurance Rep

Job Summary

Responsible for the market evaluation and placement of new and existing Premier accounts, the remote Property & Casualty Insurance Rep will manage high net worth clients' complex insurance needs, negotiate terms with carriers, and maintain strong relationships with underwriters and brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze insurance submissions for new and renewal business, recommending improvements to coverage
• Market new and renewal submissions to carriers and negotiate competitive pricing and terms on behalf of clients
• Prepare new business proposals to support sales efforts, ensuring compliance with agency procedures

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Personal Risk Property & Casualty insurance
• High School diploma required; college degree preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of Property & Casualty insurance coverages and underwriting concepts
• Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license
• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU preferred, or intent to pursue a designation
