Property & Casualty Underwriter

Job Summary

Providing concierge-level service to insureds and agents, the full-time remote Property & Casualty Underwriter will manage small to mid-sized commercial lines accounts, process policy transactions, and handle service inquiries while identifying cross-sell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and process commercial lines endorsements within assigned authority levels
• Accurately issue certificates of insurance in accordance with client guidelines and state regulations
• Review and respond to policy-related inquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely resolution

Required Qualifications:

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required; must be able to obtain licensing in all 50 states
• Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and underwriting principles
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience servicing or underwriting commercial property & casualty insurance policies
• Prior experience in an agency or carrier environment with demonstrated customer service skills
