Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Assistant (Excess P&C) to support senior underwriting staff and manage administrative duties related to accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Assess loss history and financial conditions for risk cases
Conduct preliminary reviews of submissions to identify errors and confirm eligibility
Process accounts from approved quotes through to policy issuance efficiently

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required
Minimum of 1 year of P&C underwriting or related support experience required
CPCU, CIC, CRIS, or Property & Casualty Brokers License is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software
Willingness to work in a hybrid capacity if located near specified locations
