Property Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of first-party Commercial Property claims, the remote Senior Claims Specialist will independently investigate, evaluate, and oversee claims while supporting the Underwriting Business Unit and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively manage assigned caseload from intake to resolution, including evaluation, reserving, and coverage analysis
• Draft coverage letters and communicate coverage positions to insureds, brokers, and agents
• Identify emerging trends across the assigned caseload and share insights with Claims Leadership and business partners

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum of seven years of Commercial Property claims handling experience, including large/complex loss
• Active adjuster license(s) or eligibility to obtain one within 90 days of joining
• Insurance designation preferred (e.g., CPCU, AIC, AINS)
• Experience in TPA oversight and auditing preferred but not required
