Property Claims Supervisor (NY Licensed)

Job Summary

Providing leadership to a team of claims adjusters, the full-time remote Property Claims Supervisor (NY Licensed) will manage property, automobile, and liability claims from initial review through final resolution, ensuring compliance and efficiency in claims handling.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the review and interpretation of coverage, processing, and concluding assigned claims
• Direct outside investigative service providers and collaborate with clients and counsel to advance claims to resolution
• Ensure accurate assessment of loss exposure, reserving practices, and settlement strategies while tracking team success against KPIs

Required qualifications

• At least three years of supervisory experience in automobile claims management
• Knowledge of claims handling concepts, including coverage issues and litigation management
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Adjuster licenses required, with willingness to obtain a NY license if not already held
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
