Property Tax Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Property Tax Accountant to support real and personal property tax compliance across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Support U.S. and Canadian property tax compliance, including coordination of tax payments and review of tax bills
• Partner with external property tax vendors for timely and accurate filings and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare data for annual property tax renditions and assist with property tax appeals and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate tax, property tax, or state and local tax compliance
• Experience supporting U.S. and/or Canadian property tax preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and tax compliance tools preferred
