Job Summary

A company is looking for a Property Underwriter to lead their Underwriting Department.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Underwriting Department with a staff of 2-3
• Oversee and grow the E&S Property segment, focusing on West Coast Wildfires
• Manage relationships with brokers, carriers, and MGAs while enhancing underwriting policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• 6-25 years of relevant experience in E&S Property underwriting
• Strong business relationships within the industry
• Experience in managing teams and overseeing underwriting processes
• Ability to enhance underwriting policies and controls
• Knowledge of market trends, particularly regarding West Coast Wildfires
