Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Proposal and Award Generalist will provide pre-award administration services, partnering with faculty to identify funding opportunities, prepare and submit proposals, and ensure compliance within the Liberal Arts Award Hub.
Key responsibilities
- Search for and analyze funding opportunities from various sources and distribute them to faculty
- Advise Principal Investigators on compliance requirements and manage high-volume proposal cycles
- Prepare proposal budgets and assist with proposal development, ensuring adherence to sponsor guidelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of electronic proposal submission systems such as grants.gov and Research.gov
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, for document preparation and data tracking
- Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Familiarity with compliance requirements related to research proposals
