Proposal Development Specialist II

Job Summary

Managing complex RFPs and collaborating with cross-functional teams, the full-time telecommuting Proposal Development Specialist II will develop persuasive proposals and responses that influence key business decisions and drive growth in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, write, and manage multiple RFP/RFI requests simultaneously, ensuring compelling and comprehensive responses
• Collaborate with various functional areas to ensure accurate and appropriate proposal responses
• Lead efforts to win new business and retain existing strategic accounts through effective proposal development

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or English, or four years of relevant professional experience
• Three years of professional writing experience, including two years in RFP/RFI writing or business communications
• Experience in healthcare, preferably in health insurance, is preferred
• Strong persuasive writing skills, with excellent proofreading and editing capabilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing complex projects
