Proposal Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the sales organization and customers during the proposal process for Instrumentation Flow products, the full-time Proposal Engineer will manage the creation of tender documents, oversee bid aspects, and maintain customer relationships in a hybrid work environment across Houston, TX, Bartlesville, OK, or Baton Rouge, LA.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate creation of tender documents by coordinating with relevant stakeholders
• Manage all aspects of bids, including technical, financial, and risk reviews, while adhering to proposal processes
• Interface with customers and channel representatives to provide technical and commercial support

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in preparing bids and tenders for instrumentation products
• Experience in the oil & gas, power, paper, or chemical industries is preferred
• Technical knowledge of rotating equipment such as pumps and mechanical seals is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Salesforce
