Proposal Engineer - Renewables

Job Summary

To support the development of high-quality technical proposals and project cost estimates, the full-time Proposal Engineer - Renewables will manage the proposal process, coordinate with various internal teams, and ensure compliance with client requirements in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead proposal efforts from intake through submission, including planning, scheduling, and document development
• Review RFPs and client requirements to identify compliance needs and develop proposal documents and supporting materials
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and drive timely completion of proposals while managing proposal comments and revisions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, renewable energy, or a related field; or equivalent experience
• 2-6 years of experience in proposal development, project management, technical writing, or related work in the renewable energy sector
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively across diverse teams and communicate proactively
