Proposal Manager

Job Summary

Driving world-class proposal execution, the full-time remote Proposal Manager will own the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, coordinating cross-functional teams to produce compliant and compelling responses to various solicitations while ensuring alignment and timely submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Own proposal strategy and execution across all active pursuits, establishing win themes and ensuring on-time submissions
• Serve as Proposal Lead on active opportunities, managing schedules, writing tasks, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration
• Build and maintain a proposal asset library of reusable templates and ensure compliant submissions across government portals

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in proposal management, program management, or government contracting within defense tech or equivalent experience
• Proven track record leading proposals for SBIRs, RFPs, BAAs, or similar government solicitations
• Strong technical communication skills with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear narratives
• Foundational understanding of engineering and product development to support credible technical writing
• Experience with proposal automation tools or proposal writing platforms
