Job Summary
Managing all stages of the proposal development process, the full-time Proposal Manager will create compliant and compelling proposals in response to government solicitations, collaborating with Capture Managers and subject matter experts while ensuring high-quality submissions.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the proposal development process from solicitation release to submission, including volume lead and writing assignments
- Engage with Capture Managers to develop proposal strategies and consolidate input from multiple authors while ensuring compliance and clarity
- Facilitate Color Reviews and edit proposal documents for content, style, and formatting, utilizing desktop publishing tools
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in proposal management, preferably in federal consulting and IT services
- Experience leading proposal volumes and drafting oral presentations
- Familiarity with AI tools for proposal writing and editing
- Training in formal capture/proposal methodologies, such as Shipley Proposal Training
