Proposal Manager

Job Summary

To lead and manage complex federal proposals, the remote Proposal Manager will collaborate with regional teams, oversee proposal development, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance and quality deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams on priority pursuits, including RFQs and RFPs, while fostering communication and mentoring within the proposal team
• Lead large, complex proposals from capture through interview stages, managing schedules, content plans, and compliance reviews
• Monitor must-win pursuits, providing strategic direction and facilitating color team reviews to enhance proposal quality

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, plus 8+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of people-management experience with a record of developing and mentoring talent
• Demonstrated success leading multi-discipline proposals valued over $20 million
• Strong understanding of proposal best practices and experience with desktop publishing tools, including Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
