Proposal Writer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Proposal Writer to develop compelling proposals in response to government RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze government RFPs to determine proposal requirements and compliance needs
• Provide end-to-end project management for the response process, ensuring timely delivery and clear communication with stakeholders
• Lead proposal development efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure technical accuracy and alignment with client needs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience writing government proposals, preferably in public safety or technology sectors
• Strong understanding of the RFP/RFI/RFQ process and government procurement practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with proposal automation tools is a plus
• Experience in public safety technology solutions is preferred
