Job Summary
Supporting the end-to-end development of high-quality proposals, the remote Proposal Writer will manage proposal strategy, content development, compliance, and submission for government and commercial procurements while collaborating cross-functionally to meet business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of proposal development for federal and state procurements, including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and ITBs
- Ensure proposals meet all technical, legal, and regulatory requirements while developing compelling content that articulates the company's value proposition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support proposal reviews, approvals, and final submission processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal writing or equivalent experience
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling and resource coordination
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to translate technical content into persuasive narratives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
