Job Summary

To support Education Cannot Wait Lebanon, the remote Proposal Writer will develop technical narratives and draft compliant proposals, managing up to 10 days per assignment with potential extensions throughout 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as lead writer to transform technical strategies into compelling narratives
• Produce compliant technical narrative drafts and contribute to technical annex development
• Participate in design sessions and review meetings, integrating inputs and revisions into drafts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, international development, education, or a related field; master's preferred
• At least seven years of relevant professional experience, including five years in program design or management of multilateral donor-funded projects
• Expertise in education projects in emergency contexts, with a preference for experience in Lebanon
• Strong technical writing, editing, and synthesis skills, with experience in competitive proposal writing preferred
• Ability to translate complex information into clear and compelling work products
