Prospect Research Analyst
Job Summary
To support the Global Philanthropic Engagement fundraising team, the full-time Prospect Research Analyst II will conduct comprehensive research and analysis on potential donors, providing actionable insights to enhance fundraising strategies while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on philanthropic donor prospects, analyzing their history, interests, and giving patterns to support prospect identification and pipeline development
- Analyze existing donor portfolios to optimize fundraising efforts and identify untapped philanthropic capacity
- Translate data into actionable insights, delivering research reports and donor profiles that inform fundraising strategies and donor engagement plans
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as nonprofit management, fundraising, or data analytics
- Three or more years of experience in prospect research or related roles within the nonprofit sector
- Robust analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in fundraising CRMs, preferably Salesforce, and data visualization tools like Tableau
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments
