Prospect Research Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialist, Prospect Research.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts research and prepares briefing materials on donors and prospective donors
• Partners with Major Gifts Officers and Foundation Officers to develop strategy
• Manages research needs for meetings with donors and assesses new donor opportunities

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field with at least 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience
• At least 2 years of experience in Prospect Research and familiarity with relevant research tools
• Experience with financial data analysis and tools like Blackbaud ResearchPoint is a plus
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Demonstrates cultural competency and inclusivity in a diverse work environment
