Protocol Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Founding Protocol Engineer to lead the on-chain portion of a hybrid crypto options exchange.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the trust and verification layer of the hybrid architecture
• Eliminate trust requirements by proving off-chain trades were executed fairly on-chain
• Design resilient systems for secure on-chain operations and user custody of funds

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems engineering experience in Rust, C++, or Go
• Deep experience with Solana program development or equivalent blockchain runtime
• Strong applied cryptography knowledge, including Merkle trees and digital signatures
• Understanding of DeFi security and common exploit vectors
• Experience with hybrid or L2 architectures involving off-chain execution and on-chain verification
