Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prototype Engineer to join their Special Projects team.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop tools to expose AI/ML capabilities for production homebuilding
Integrate proven research outputs into the product, following best practices in a complex codebase
Build frameworks for rapid evaluation and iteration of prototypes while collaborating with the engineering organization

Required Qualifications

4+ years of professional Software Engineering experience, with 2+ years in integrating ML/AI capabilities
Experience shipping AI-powered features to real users
Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/React, and API design
Familiarity with LLM APIs, vector databases, and the Python ML ecosystem
Experience in construction or related physical-world domains is a plus
