Provider Account Executive

Job Summary

Acting as the central point of coordination for key provider partners, the full-time Provider Account Executive will build and maintain relationships, facilitate issue resolution, and deliver education on policies and programs while working remotely in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with physicians and hospitals to enhance quality care and network stability
• Facilitate the resolution of escalated provider issues and serve as a liaison regarding contracting matters
• Develop and deliver educational content to providers on company directives, policies, and performance improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of provider relations experience with a proven track record in maintaining excellent provider relationships
• 5 years of experience with claims coding, medical terminology, and ICD/CPT coding systems
• 5 years of experience in health insurance, preferably in Provider Relations or Account Management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
