Provider Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Contract Specialist responsible for negotiating contracts with healthcare providers and supporting legal matters related to provider relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Network representatives and attorneys on contracting with providers across multiple states
• Support strategic positioning for provider contracting and assist in developing contract templates
• Contribute to alternative networking initiatives and support attorneys on provider relations issues

Required Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
• Required 5+ years of experience in provider contracting within a health plan or related field
• Preferred certification/degree in contract specialization if a paralegal
• Experience in either business or legal department settings
• Ability to work 100% remotely, with potential travel to the Detroit office as needed
