Provider Contracting Advisor

Job Summary

To support the Mississippi market, the full-time Provider Contracting Advisor will manage complex contracting and negotiations for fee-for-service and value-based reimbursements, while building provider relationships and collaborating with internal partners in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex contracting and negotiations with hospitals and providers
• Build and nurture relationships with provider partners to support local market strategies
• Prepare and analyze financial impacts of provider contracts and resolve complex service complaints

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Healthcare, or Business; MBA or MHA preferred
• 3+ years of experience in managed care contracting and negotiations
• Experience in developing and managing key provider relationships
• Knowledge of complex reimbursement methodologies and provider business models
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills
