Provider Contracting Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Provider Contracting & Credentialing Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all medical and clinical staff are appropriately credentialed with payers
• Assist in identifying new hire credentialing needs and prepare credentialing applications
• Evaluate contract proposals and negotiate contract rates with payers

Required Qualifications and Education

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• At least three (3) years of experience in provider or payer contracting and credentialing
• Knowledge of Hospital and/or Behavioral Contracting and Reimbursement
• Familiarity with CAQH requirements and credentialing applications
• Strong computer knowledge and personal computer meeting company standards
